Today while cleaning I found an envelope with the strangest collection of memories from 1994-2009
1) My mom’s obit.
2) A receipt for dinner in Portland OR. Where I first met a person who has become very special in my life.
3) The doctors note that got me out of flying to CA but ultimately led to discover that I had thyroid cancer
4) A White House photo with President Clinton holding one of my winning photos.
5) A delightful photo of the girls at the farm
6) The email for the kind person I met on Grand Turk after being stranded alone and agreeing to stay over night in the home of the Air Turks and Cacaos pilot.
Strange the things that we tuck away. Some don’t show there relevance until years later.
