Fresh summer peaches in a class of chilled Pinot Grigio. Perfect way to take in the late summer afternoon sun and to talk and reflect on the day.
I first tried pinot grigio poured over thinly sliced peaches while visiting a small fishing village in Italy. Every day my daughters and I would walk down to the public beach. At lunch time the restaurant owner would bring is a pitcher of wine with peaches accompanied with cheese, meats and fresh fruit. Every time I have a glass my heart is back on that quaint beach with my beautiful daughters.
